The dogs love it and so do we.

We have two very active and needy Golden Doodles who enjoy the freedom of a dog door. Unfortunately that is coupled with extreme and windy weather we have in Nebraska as well as a northern exposure for them to exit on the deck.

First we bought another major brand’s dog door that fit in the slider. It blew open in rainstorms and even caused it to snow in our dining room! So then I decided to find what I thought might solve the problem. The Freedom Pet Pass dog door had to be built into the wall, but the double magnetic closure works like a charm. It only blew open once, when we had a 100 mph+ derecho! The dogs love it and so do we.

Then, due to our crazy active dogs who throw themselves through the door with great enthusiasm, the flap cracked after 4 years. Even though it wasn’t warranteed, the company replaced it a 50% off. Great service!
